ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
We invite you to be part of an extraordinary team-volunteering experience, the House of Solidarity voluntary camp organized by Egyesek Youth Association in cooperation with Pécsi Élmény Tár Tanoda for 2 weeks.The aim of the camp is to provide a chance to all participants to learn about themselves and each other, build new relationships, and gain valuable experiences. Volunteers will have a chance to understand the civil sector in Hungary and the social reality of people living in poverty, not only as spectators, but as active participants working towards social change. The program will consist of team building activities, creative and multicultural workshops delivered to and by the volunteers with local young people, interactive programs to get to know the area together and some renovation work on a community house. ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
Volunteers will be accomodated in tents in the graden of Pécsi Élménytár Tanoda. Toilets and showers are indoor. Camp leaders and volunteers will pay attention to have a responsible, local, and balanced diet. The team will cook in turns with the help of local camp leaders and youth workers.
TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY
Three days preparation: teambuilding games, workshops, information about European Solidarity Corps, International Voluntary Service, Alliance and CCIVS networks Professional mentors and youth workers take care of your personal and professional development: organize mentor meetings, run practicals and create safety. Hungarian language and creative workshops two times in a week. The support team is ready to help you in the creative learning workshops and organize the practicals in order to have a wonderful 2 weeks with full of joy and excitement.
PARTICIPANT PROFILE

We would like to welcome volunteers who are motivated to work with young people that come from different social backgrounds, flexible and able to manage working hours divided in different activities, have interest in renovation work.
